Bagley’s is known for it’s laid back attitude and unpretentious approach to wine. As one of the oldest wineries along Seneca lake we are very proud of our unique history. We opened our doors in 1980 and have been growing, producing and selling wine from our 40 acre farm in Hector. Our founder Dave Bagley was passionate about finger lakes wine and loved sharing his wines with many visitors over the years. Sadly, Dave passed away in 2008, but his legacy lives on as his daughter Brittany has followed in his footsteps. Today Bagley’s is female owned, and operated with a small crew that works very hard to produce delicious wines to share with their customers.
With 40 years in the wine business, we pride ourselves on providing a fun, unpretentious experience while producing great wine. On our 40 acre farm we grow 14 different varietals of French and German vinifera, along with American and French hybrids, intentionally chosen to create variety in our wine list. Our production is small scale, only making about 3-4,000 cases a year, allowing us to maintain high quality. We grow 90% of our own grapes and purchase Concord (Monroe Vineyards) and Catawba (Clawson Vineyards) locally. We can proudly say that we grow it, make it, and sell it right out the front door. Our small crew is pretty incredible, wearing different hats daily while helping to further our commitment to making quality wines. We hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor!

J.R. Dill got his start 17 years ago in his parents basement making wine. Since then J.R. Dill has been perfecting his craft and will see his 10th harvest of commercial wine production this year. The winery continues to grow its production while still being completely hands on. There is a strong passion for wine and Seneca Lake, as J.R. Dill lived here since the beginning.
Our niche dry red wines are hand crafted by the Thomas family on the Eastern shores of Seneca Lake.
Shalestone’s goal is to make red wines that are uniquely different from the other leading wine regions of the world but just as complex.
The recognized potential of our shallow clay-rich soil and the unique climate of the Finger Lakes makes Shalestone Vineyards a unique and experienced winemaker in a burgeoning wine region.
Located in the hills below our tasting room, on the Eastern slope of Seneca Lake, we selectively plant on our 6.5 acres a mixture of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Lemberger and Pinot Noir. The dynamic micro-climate created by the deep lake, mixed with a shallow, clay-rich soil and the long sun filled summers, create a fantastic environment in which to grow our grapes.
We produce approximately 1500 cases annually.
Three unique wineries, a microbrewery and café all on one estate, we have something for everyone!

If you’re here looking for great wines and great times—the kind you want to share with friends and family—grab a glass. That’s why we’re here, too. Since 1852, six generations of Hazlitt’s have farmed the land, so our roots are deep. But it’s more than land. It’s a lifestyle. Relaxed, friendly, and unpretentious. A lifestyle we hope you share along with our wines. Stop in and see us on the postcard-perfect east side of Seneca Lake or picturesque Naples, NY, and we’ll share one with you. Or order a bottle(s) online and enjoy our wine in your perfect setting. Great Wines, Great Times.
